Activities at Mini Minors & XUK Day Camps

Groups takes part in a wide range of activities so each day is different! Activities and entertainers are tailored to each of the age categories to ensure that they are appropriate.

3 – 4's (Pre-Reception)

We have great activities for this age-group at Mini Minors. We aim for a good balance of indoor and outdoor, art and sport. We understand that many of this age group may be attending a camp for the first time (and may not have been to nursery before) and we adapt our approach to make these children and parents as comfortable and settled as possible.

Here are some of the fantastic activities that could be on offer to our 3-4's:

• Zumba
• Salt dough
• Fencing
• Story telling
• Treasure hunts
• Role play
• Printing with shapes and paint
• Teddy Bears Picnic
• Badge making
• Football

5 – 6's (Reception & Year 1)

Our 5 and 6 year olds approach activities in a more advanced way to our youngest age group at Mini Minors. They also have sessions with our more grown up outside entertainers, which might include: Fencing, Yoga, Street Dance and so on.

Here are some of the activities our campers could be doing:

• Jewellery making
• Football skills
• Scavenger hunts
• Parachute games
• Mask making
• Construction
• Face painting
• Athletics
• Cheerleading
• Clay modelling

7 – 12's (Year 2 +)

We appreciate that our senior age-group require the freedom to choose their activities at XUK Day Camp. Before each session our campers will pick which activity they would like to take part in!

We aim to always have the following options available:

• Sport - Football, Kwik Cricket, Athletics and so many more...
• Art & Crafts - from Tie Dying to Friendship Bracelets
• Performing Arts - including Comedy Workshops, Street Dancing and Yoga
• Other - fun and exciting options such as STEM activities, Quizzes and Board Games

During the week there will also be whole camp activities such as Scrapheap Challenge or XUK Olympics.
