Victoria has been coming to XUK activity camp for many years - 2013 was her 7th summer! So we wanted to find out a little more about one of our most loyal and loved campers...

If you could be an animal for a day what would you be and why?

I would be a koala bear so I could cuddle people!

In 2013, when I did Jacob’s ladder and went all the way to the top!

If you could be Richard for a day what would you do to XUK?

I’d let the kids choose all their activities for the day

Victoria even shared with us her earliest memory of XUK and told us this…

I remember the first time I went, I was the youngest and smallest at camp and was playing a game with my big sister Jessica who is five years older than me. Our group leader Adam organised it, and we had to put a football between our legs and run with it. As I was so small, compared to the ball, I struggled and kept dropping the ball. I remember Adam calling me “Mini Mevel” and he kept encouraging me. That was great!
