We’re already in April and if you haven’t already, now is the time to be sorting your summer job. Summer camps are amazing places to spend your summer and you don’t need to go all the way to the USA to find an amazing camp to work at. Let us tell you why you should spend your summer at our camps in the UK...
With up to six weeks work available, you will create SO many memories from being pied in Evening Activities to seeing that homesick camper make it through the week. Once you return home, you’ll be able to relate absolutely anything and everything back to your time and camp... get ready for the eye rolls from your jealous friends when you mention summer camp for the 209431st time!
Future employers will love the fact you have worked at a summer camp. Throughout your time with us, you will develop lots of transferable skills from problem solving to leadership and communication. You will find yourself in situations at summer camp that no internship or office job could ever provide you with.
You don’t have to pay a penny to come and be part of our team. There are no fees or expenses – we will pay you at least £400 per week. We will also provide you with three meals a day and accommodation throughout your contract, even on your day off each week!
Camp friends really are the best friends. You will find yourself making friends with other staff members from different background to you and not necessarily people you would have made friends with in the real world. You’ll all have at least one thing in common – your love and passion towards XUK Camps!
Our campers are amazing young people, they’ll look up to you as their role models. With our camps being so international, you can also learn all about our campers background and cultures.
We will offer you up to six weeks work, so if you are a student, you’ll still have plenty of time to travel before camp starts and after. Sometimes our staff team book holidays with one another during camp so they have something to look forward to with their new friends once camp is over!
Stacking shelves in a supermarket or pulling pints in a bar can be a bit tedious if you’re spending your whole summer doing it – so do something different and work at a summer camp. Every day at camp is so different. In one week, you might be have two days running activities, a day off site on our whole camp trip, an optional extra trip, two duty days, your day off and a trip to Heathrow to collect our campers
Yes, we will be spending our summer working – summer camp is a holiday for the campers, not us! However, there will still be plenty of opportunities for you to have lots of fun with our campers during activities and free time!
We love the fact so many of our team members return summer after summer! With lots of different roles available, there are plenty of opportunities for you to grow and develop within our team each summer and over the years.
